Alejandro´s practice explores the intersection between architecture and graphic design, as well as product and furniture design from a graphic conception. In his work he develops rule-based design methodologies in order to find connections between different disciplines and thus arrive at unpredictable outcomes.

Márquez graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana, he is co-founder of MONO NOM an architecture and design office based in Mexico City.
