I Put My Love In Front of My Eyes (You Put Your Love Behind Your Eyes)

This works explore the idea of yearning for love, mourning the loss of a lover, and saving yourself as a raised form of humane salvation. The figure exists in a space that's compacted and contained to stage the state of seclusion that exists within these emotions and sensations. The fleshed figure caresses a dove and a crow. The two birds are conversing with one another as two different presences, but they are one. They are an extension of the same being: the savior and the saved, the lover and the beloved, the lost and found. We have these two dual roles contained within us rather than outside of us.
